Livingston Montana Wedding

Wedding planning can be so stressful—but imagine having your wedding in the middle of the COVID-19 crisis. Would you postpone it? Would you elope? Well, Chris & Emily didn’t want to cancel a day that they had been looking forward to for several months. They were SO EXCITED to marry each other and they couldn’t wait. So on March 21, 2020, Chris & Emily got married in Livingston, Montana.

They had to make so many sacrifices in order to get married. Their grandparents & a few siblings weren’t able to come because of travel & group restrictions. Chris & Emily had to switch their ceremony location last minute—but it actually turned out AMAZING!! They were able to get married in Chris’ childhood church surrounded by a dozen of their closest family and a few friends.

One of my favorite parts of their wedding was their first kiss. They had been looking forward to this moment for a very long time. When the pastor announced that it was time for the groom to kiss his bride—the whole room froze and time went in slow motion. Chris slowly & gently lifted Emily’s veil and took a deep breath. Then they leaned in slowly and had their very first kiss! I could feel the joy & energy radiate from the newlywed couple as they realized they were finally married!!!

Thank you so much for welcoming me with open arms. Your wedding day was so amazing—thank you so much for trusting me to capture your first memories as husband and wife!! You two are SO special.

Everything you guys did & said showed me how much love you guys have for everyone you meet. From our first phone call—I remember Chris asking me how he could make my trip to Montana better! You guys have me sushi recommendations & hiking trails (we took a small hike on Sunday and WOW, Montana is SO GORGEOUS!!)

And then on your wedding day, you gave me and my husband such a sweet and thoughtful gift. Not only is your love for each other beautiful and strong—but so is your love for God & everyone else you meet!! The world needs more couples like you guys!!
