Plymouth, Minnesota Engagement Photos

A few days ago I had the pleasure of photographing Emily + Patrick’s engagement session in Plymouth, Minnesota. I had 5 photo sessions while I was in the Twin Cities last week, but this one was extraaa special because Emily + Patrick are my old friends from college!! When they got engaged I was thrilled for them, as they are perfect for each other. When they asked me to photograph their wedding and engagement photos—I was beyond excited!! All my clients are amazing, but it’s so special being able to document a friend’s love story.

One thing that stood out to me during their engagement session was how strong Emily + Patrick are as a couple. Some people just fit together. Sometime, people just understand each other and their relationship makes sense—that is totally the case here. I asked Emily to draw an image on Patrick’s cheek with her nose and Patrick guessed the shape correctly—before she even started drawing. Is Patrick a mind reader? Lol nope. They just know each other inside & out. They fit.
