Woodbury Family Photos

Filed Under:

On Thursday night, I had the privilege of capturing family photos for Dana, Kendall, and Oskar at the Belwin Nature Conservancy in Woodbury, Minnesota. Kendall picked out this location because they had been taking family walks throughout trails for the past few weeks and fell in love with the winding paths and wildflowers. And this was the PERFECT location. Not only was it a special place for the family—it also had all the things I search for when picking out locations (tall grass, natural light, not-crowded, etc.).

One of the things that stood out to me was how Kendall + Dana were encouraging and supporting their 6-year-old’s decisions. Oskar took off his shoes (we almost forgot them a few times), ran around wildly, and talked endlessly of his favorite animal—chickens. It was great! 🙂

Even though I was only with this adorable family for less than two hours, it was SO apparent how much love they shared. I think Oskar put it best, “I love you 10 times infinity!”
