Heather & Jordan tied the knot on Saturday, May 22 in Devils Lake, North Dakota! The said their vows standing in front of a gorgeous gazebo next to the lake—it was absolutely beautiful!
One of my favorite parts of their day was their first look. My second shooter set up the groom on the beach and had him face the water. Then I walked down with the bride, Heather. I asked her if she thought Jordan would cry—and she replied “Yes—I bet he will!!” Jordan patiently waited for us—and I know he was excited to see his bride because he became even more excited when he heard us approaching. Then it was time. Heather slowly walked up to her soon-to-be husband and tapped him on the shoulder. Jordan turned around and his hand instantly fell to his keeps—and his hat almost fell off so he grabbed it. She STUNNED him!!! It took Jordan a few minutes to re-gather his breath because he was so amazed by her!!!
Heather & Jordan, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your big day! I really enjoyed working with you both and even though we had cold weather for your engagement session and your wedding—I still LOVE the way your gallery looks!! I also found it very sweet that you not only had a printed photobook of your engagement session at your reception but you also make a slideshow to share with all of your guests. The photos that you shared in the slideshow prove how important photos and capturing these moments are!! You both are so kind and so-clearly in love—it was a pleasure photographing these important memories for you!!
