Alexandra and Nicholas wanted to have their engagement session on the north shore in northern Minnesota. We settled upon Palisade Head and Kelsey Beach and the locations could not have been more perfect! These two tie the knot on July 13th (just a couple weeks from now!!) at Grand Superior Lodge in Two Harbors, MN. I am SO excited for this wedding as my team will be doing photo AND video for them!
The North Shore Engagement Session
We started our session super early in the morning to catch the sunrise at Palisade head and oh my gosh was it stunning. We did lots of walking and twirling photos here because those are some of my absolute favorite photos to take at this location. I always need to get a good twirl in each gallery! After hanging out on the rocks for a little while, we moved to the walking trails at the park and took a few more photos before heading over to Kelsey Beach. The sunrise was AMAZING and the photos are all so glowy and beautiful!
Kelsey beach was a little bit of a different scene which was perfect for mixing things up. There was a nice grassy patch that I loved, and it complimented their outfits so well! The lake was right behind them and the sun shining off the water was super pretty. Kelsey beach, like Palisade Head, had a lot of cool rocks that we got to play around on. The rocks are super unique and make for a really cool backdrop for photos!
We finished up their session at Kelsey beach and said our goodbyes. Alexandra and Nicholas, thank you for spending your morning with me on the north shore (and waking up super early!). I had a blast and I can’t wait to see you two get married in a couple weeks!
