G + T’s North Shore Engagement Session

This fall I had an incredible North Shore engagement session with Grace and Turner! We started their session at Palisade head, ended at Black Sand Beach, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sunrise to tell their story. Watching the sun rise over the water, giving everything a warm and golden hue, was like a dream—one that perfectly suited this couple.

The Engagement Session

Our first stop was Palisade head, where Grace and Turner wore their more elegant outfits. The rocky cliffs and lake views provided such a stunning contrast to the beach. With their classy attire, they looked like something out of a romantic film! They moved so naturally in front of the camera and I loved the chance to capture some sweet, intimate moments against such a dramatic landscape.

Then, we switched things up at Black Sand Beach, where Grace and Turner went with a fun, casual look. The open space gave us room to explore, play, and try out a few new poses, which they absolutely nailed! From running along the shore to capturing those playful, intimate moments, these two were all smiles and full of energy. Their chemistry and laughter was so cute, making every shot feel natural and filled with joy. I absolutely loved trying out a few new poses like making hearts and spelling out love! 

Wrapping Up

This North shore engagement session was a good mix of romance and fun, reflecting Grace and Turner’s personalities perfectly. The golden sunrise was beyond beautiful! Their love for each other is so apparent, and I’m beyond excited to document the next step in their journey when they tie the knot in Detroit Lakes on September 27, 2025. It’s going to be a beautiful celebration, and I can’t wait to be there to capture it all!
