A Unique Engagement Session | Adventure in the Sky

The Couple – Minneapolis Pilots

Grant and Janelle’s unique engagement session was nothing short of amazing. These two are a very interesting couple because they are BOTH pilots! For their engagement session, they asked if they could take their photos at the airport with their plane. The idea was so unique and sentimental – I had to say yes!

The Airport Engagement Session

Starting off strong, Grant and Janelle had the cutest summer outfits for their photos. Their first outfits complimented one another so well with a red and muted green contrast. It screamed summer picnic date and couldn’t have been more adorable! During the first part of the session, our time was spent playing on the runway. We had a blast!

You’ll never guess what happened next – they took me for a ride in their plane!! THIS WAS AMAZING. It was my first time being in a single engine plane (it only fit three people). We took a short ride around the airport area while I got to enjoy the views from the back. The experience was something I will never forget.

When we landed, Grant and Janelle changed into their final outfit which was the coolest, most classy outfit I’ve ever seen. Janelle had on a beautiful blue floral dress, and Grant had on a nice blue button up and a tie that perfectly matched her dress. We spent the final part of the session running around in the grass and walking the runway one last time.
