My Introduction to San Diego

This San Diego couples session was straight out of a magazine and I was obsessed with every detail! Kylie and Michael were so wonderful to work with and looked amazing on the tennis court together. This session was part of a photography retreat that I am so happy I was able to attend out in California. It was a beautiful introduction to the state, and I had an absolute blast meeting all the other photographers that attended!

The Couples Session

This couples session was so unique and fun! I had never photographed on a tennis court before, but there is a first time for everything! Kylie and Michael were naturals in front of the camera, and made the session so easy. My favorite part of styled shoots is seeing how different photographers capture couples. I love seeing all the angles, compositions, and editing styles that people naturally come up with. It’s so interesting to see how many different photos can come from one pose!

I LOVE photographing unique couples sessions! If you are on the fence about booking a creative couples session for you and your partner – do it!! There are so many things we can do, whether its an activity or going to a special place. You don’t have to be engaged to do a creative session either! Documenting your love throughout the years can be so memorable and you can always make a date night out of your session! We can grab coffee, pop some champagne, you can paint together, cook, or even go roller skating. Whatever comes to your mind, I am so ready to capture it!

My Final Thoughts

California was such an amazing time and I learned a TON from the retreat. Photography styled shoots and retreats are such a fun way to learn more about yourself as a photographer. This San Diego couples session made me realize how many more creative sessions I want to capture! If you want to create some memories, have fun, and make a date night out of your session – lets chat!
