A PokeGama Golf Course Wedding

This past summer, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing a beautiful Grand Rapids wedding at the Pokegama Golf Course. It’s hard to even begin to describe just how incredible this day was! 

The day kicked off a ton of laughter and happy moments. All the bridesmaids had a great time getting ready together! When it was time to get changed, my jaw dropped at Chelseas dress. It was absolutely stunning—elegant yet timeless. Nick was wearing a white jacket that gave him such a classy, sophisticated look that was spot-on! One of my favorite parts was photographing all the little details. Chelsea made these adorable glasses with her new last name on them, and they were just the cutest! The whole vibe was fun, personal, and full of character! 

Chelsea and Nick’s Ceremony

The ceremony was a beautiful blend of tradition and joy, overlooking the lake. It made the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. I also love that they involved so many of their family members in their unity ceremony! They even had a petal toss after they said “I do,” and it added such a whimsical, romantic touch! It looked like something straight out of a movie, seriously. 

The Reception

The cake cutting was another highlight— the cake was elegant and the topper was just the sweetest thing ever. But it was the laughter, the happy tears during the speeches, and all the love in the room that truly made this reception so memorable. The speeches were incredibly heartwarming and filled with so much emotion. Nick’s mom even learned her speech in another language for Chelsea’s family. There were so many tears, but all in the best way possible!

The dance floor was one of the best I have seen! The money dance definitely stood out to me. It got everyone out of the dance floor and you could feel how much fun everyone was having! Chelsea and Nick looked absolutely adorable out there too. The DJ played some amazing music, and my team and I even got out on the dance floor for a few songs at the end of the night! I am so glad I had the opportunity to celebrate this amazing couple and capture their beautiful day. Everything was perfectly planned and executed. This Grand Rapids wedding was definitely one for the books!
