Tulum Styled Shoot | A Mexico Wedding

This July, I had the opportunity to travel to Tulum, Mexico for a styled shoot retreat. It was seriously the best time! I got to stay in the coolest house with a few other photographers for the days I was there. The entire trip was packed with amazing activities and styled shoots! I got to spend a lot of my time relaxing outside, in the pool, and doing yoga with the other photographers.

The Details

Now let’s talk about the session. I absolutely love everything about this shoot! The colors, the dress, the models?!! It couldn’t have been more perfect. First up – the details. I could not get over all of the colors in the details and how much they popped! The envelopes were so cute and had palm trees on the inside, so of course I had to show that off in the photos. The ring itself had this beautiful gold detailing around the sides and had a gorgeous stone, not to mention, it was in the most unique ring box! In the detail photos, the sun shone perfectly against the rocks and created a rainbow effect along the invites. This was some of the coolest stationary I’ve photographed!

Onto the session… The first thing I noticed when we were setting up was the bouquet. Oh my gosh was it STUNNING! It was this perfect color of pink that draped down over the model’s hands and had leaves that complimented the pink beautifully. The dress was also a piece of art as it had this corset with open sides and the longest lace train. The beaded detailing along the top of the corset was the cherry on top!

The Couple

The models were, of course, amazing. I swear I get to work with some of the kindest and warm-hearted people! They were open to trying a bunch of new poses and absolutely killed it at the session. We even got to take some evening pictures by the pool!

Tulum, Mexico was an unforgettable experience and I can’t wait to share more from this retreat! For now, enjoy these beautiful images from one of the sessions I got to experience while I was there. I also want to give a huge shoutout to the wonderful vendors that helped make this day possible.
