Minneapolis Styled Shoot

This past winter, I hosted a small styled shoot for me and my intern, Sierra. I wanted to teach Sierra all about posing and the client experience! First, we needed to find a couple which proved to be easy. My videography team captured the sweetest couples wedding in Cannon Falls, MN last spring. These two were kind enough to come back and model for some unique engagement photos this time! Conor and Kristina are so warmhearted and ready to try out any pose in front of the camera.

The Session!

We started the session outside of the Minneapolis Institute of Art where we captured some BEAUTIFUL photos on the stairs and in front of the big pillars. Everything flowed together so well – her dress, his suit, the colors, they all looked amazing together! We then wandered inside the museum to explore some of the art pieces. The Minneapolis Institute of Art is one of my favorite places in Minneapolis and I am happy I had the opportunity to take some unique engagement photos for this styled shoot. During the session, I got to try out so many new poses and different ways of composing my photos! This was a really great place for teaching Sierra some tips about posing and I couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out!
